Director of Education

Kendra has been involved in education for over 20 years within Northern California, Arizona and currently the Twin CIties. A native of California Bay Area, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and a Master’s in Teaching from New College of California. Kendra is a proponent of community engagement through social justice education and has participated in international education collaboration within several indigenous communities in El Salvador. As Director and Social Studies teacher at Nawayee Kendra continues her love of  life-long learning through her development of Indigenous-centered curriculum, media arts and experiential learning.
